Hello! ^_^ In this video, I talk about people boycotting this great film. Then I leave some comments on the film, a mini review- and basically my general thoughts! If you're curious, here's why I made this video: I love the original series (I've read fanfiction, etc the whole nine yards...), and went to see the film last week. I was really pleased! I came out of the film on cloud nine. Then I went to rotten tomatoes to leave review, and saw the critics had given the film an average rating of 8%! And many had cited racism in the movie- even though they hadn't seen the original cartoon! O_O What? This film deserves much better! The average user rating on Rotten Tomatoes is closer to 50% (which is more accurate, but still low), and there are only 120 ratings- and many people didn't leave a review and gave it a 0% rating. O_o (As a note, if you haven't actually seen the film, I don't think you should leave a review. ) So I encourage people who have seen and enjoyed the film to go leave a positive review! And maybe go see the film again! Because...I for one am REALLY looking forward to the sequels! And we, as the audience, need to be supportive of this film if we want to see those movies happen. I just can't fathom why some people would hate on this film so much as to try and stop future movies from being made- especially when they claim to absolutely love the original series! At the very least, you could see these films for the eye candy, after all! (And there's tons! :D) So...please, please, leave a positive review on Rotten Tomatoes, and go see the film (with friends) if you haven't! And if you're boycotting, please reconsider! You're missing out! :D And please keep in mind that this IS just a movie. It's meant for fun and entertainment! ^__^ It isn't some historical documentary about Martin Luther King Jr. with a white guy cast as that famous civil rights icon- if it were I could understand a boycott. As is, this is just a fantasy that offers a good story with awesome special effects! :)

Sidney's POV I walked into our room and sighed. This house feels like a prison when you're here alone. No Penn, now no Megs, not that I don't deserve it after being the jerk I was last night. What did I do? I thought to myself as I sank down on the end of the bed. Why did I have to ruin one of the best things to happen to me? I thought I heard someone at the door, and was about to go get it, hoping it was Megs, when I realized I hadn't. I glanced over at the TV on the stand in front of the bed; the VHS player I set up the other night was still balanced on top. I smiled, remembering how she loved coming home to watch old 90's Disney and Warner Brother's cartoons all night, eating enough junk food to make Shero cry. I even made some of my grandma's mac and cheese, I know she loves it and I wanted to do something for her. "Sidney! This is awesome!" Megs said, smiling as I walked in with a giant bowl of popcorn as she slid into bed. She'd changed out of her dress and heels into a pair of sweats and a tank top. Her hair was up, in a bun with hair falling out everywhere, and she'd washed all the make-up she'd worn to the meeting off. I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful Megs. "I thought you'd like it." I said, as I sat the popcorn down on the end of the bed with the rest of the junk food spread. Ketchup chips, cheesies, a bag of red and a bag of black liquorice, a bag of chocolates, sour keys, and a plate of cookies (mainly for me, what can I say, I have a major sweet tooth). "So what are we watching first?" she asked and I smiled, walking over to the pile of old videocassettes that I'd stacked so the spine was facing the wall and she wouldn't be able to see what movies were there. I opened the first case and slid the movie in, hitting play so the commercials would run while I went to cut a piece of mac and cheese for us to share like last time. "You'll see." I said, walking over and kissing her forehead as she sat up and grabbed a handful of chips. I ran downstairs and checked to see if it was cooled down enough to cut when I heard Megs scream. Normally I'd run to see what was wrong, but she beat me to it. "HOW DID YOU KNOW I LOVE PETER PAN!" she yelled from our room and I laughed as I grabbed the plate of oozing cheese and pasta and ran upstairs. "It's my favourite, I didn't know you liked it." I said, sliding in beside her. "It's one of mine too, but come on, you can't have just ONE favourite Disney movie! That's like saying you have a favourite child when you're a parent of more than one kid." She said and I laughed. I stood up and walked back to the pile, some of the VHS' where still stacked against the wall, we fell asleep before we could get to all of them, so we were waiting to have another movie night for her to see what they were. I turned them around and grabbed the movie on the bottom. Quest for Camelot, I'd been saving it for last because it reminds me so much of Megs. Kayley, the main character, is strong, stubborn and brave, a little sarcastic at times and extremely independent. She grew up without her father and never stopped dreaming of a knight, even when those around her said it couldn't be done. Everything about her reminds me of everything I love so much about Megs. I opened the case and slid the cassette in, hitting play and turning off the light before crawling into bed to watch it. I just got to the part where Garrett got hurt and Kayley was tending to him, right before they started singing Looking Through Your Eyes, when the bedroom door opened and I glanced over to see Megs leaning against the door frame, door knob still in hand. "Hi." She whispered, smiling a small smile at me. "Megs." I said, surprised to see her, surprised she came back. "Listen, I'm so sor-" I started but she crossed the room and kissed me quickly, shutting me up. "Sidney?" she asked, keeping her forehead against mine. "Yeah?" "I love you. --- The bit in the middle is him thinking of that surprise he had for Megs if you didn't catch that :P
