Laughter is taken to the "X-Treme" when Hawaiian surf dudes Phil and Stew Deedle are mistaken for Park Ranger recruits in this high-energy comedy. Though these two brothers are ready for any sports challenge from skateboarding to rock-climbing, even their daredevil attitude will be put to the test by Frank Slater (Dennis Hopper), a demented ex-Park Ranger who is living in an underground grotto and plotting a fiendish revenge against the park service that fired him years before. Can these clueless brothers stop Slater from carrying out his plan to steal Yellowstone's most famous landmark, Old Faithful?

VERY INTERESTING ARTICLE ON HOLLYWOOD'S IR PROPAGANDA

SEE WHAT OTHER PERVERSE THINGS DISNEY ENDORSES: http://www.afa.net/disney/disney.pdf
Evie on Yahoo says:
"yeah maybe i just find it odd that of all the princesses, the first interracial couple since pocahontas has to be the story about a black girl. It just doesn't sit well with me that a company with a history like Disney takes forever to actually make a black princess and when they do she is with a non-black man. it doesn't add up to me because that pairing is not even that common in society plus its geared toward children...i just wonder if there's an agenda behind it or they just didn't want a black male figure in their animated films."
From other bloggers;
"I have my own concerns about The Princess and the Frog. First, Tiana, the black princess, is paired up with a white prince (or at least a prince who looks white and is voiced by a Brazilian actor who also looks white) who has to save her from a black villain. Some might argue that portraying interracial marriage in film is good but why then werent any of the white princesses given non-white princes to save them from white villains? And since Disney doesnt give white princesses non-white princes, isnt this interracial relationship at the expense of black boys who deserve a hero just as much as black girls deserve a heroine? Originally the prince was explicitly reported as being the jazz-loving monarch of a European country. By giving the prince an olive, but still white, complexion and a Brazilian accent, Disney gets to go forward with their original white hero yet make him ambiguous enough to not be unequivocally criticized as white at the same time. Furthermore, theres a disturbing racial subtext to this plot. As intellectual Gayatri Spivak says, one of the main justifications of colonialism has been white men saving brown women from brown men. Here, that racist and sexist notion is invoked. The plot also follows Disneys pattern of making their evil characters more ethnic and darker than their good characters. For example, the Chinese have wheat colored skin in Mulan while the Huns are dark gray. Aladdin is tan with European features while Jafar is brown with Arabic features."
Another charge levied at black critics of The Princess and the Frog is that they are trifling to waste time getting agitated over cartoons. But the fact is all media, especially those directed at children in their formative years, shape how people see and interact with the world. Thats why fairy tales have morals and Sesame Street has educational value. Children are especially malleable by media because they havent or have just begun developing critical thinking skills and are just getting their first and foundational impressions of the world.
Disney recognizes the power of media. The company has often used its films to political ends. For example, Donald Duck was placed in a series of World War II films designed to make children passionate supporters of American troops and enemies of the Nazis and the Japanese army. Then later, Donald Duck was used in the films Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros to promote Franklin Roosevelts Good Neighbor policy towards Latin America. Clearly, if cartoons were just cartoons Disney wouldnt make such films.
In 1912 ( Jewish Playwright) Israel Cohen wrote a book on Communist tactics entitled A Racial Program for the Twentieth Century. It has proven to be prophetic:
We must realise that our Partys most powerful weapon is racial tension. By pounding into the consciousness of the dark races that for centuries they have been oppressed by the Whites, we can mould them to our program. The terms colonialism and imperialism must be featured in our propaganda. in America we will aim for subtle victory while inflaming the Negro minority against the Whites, we will endeavour to instil in the Whites a guilt complex for exploiting the Negroes. We will aid the Negroes to rise to prominence in every walk of life, in the professions and in the world of sport and entertainment. With this prestige, the Negroes will be able to intermarry with the Whites and begin a process which will deliver America [and Britain] to our cause.
"All is race; there is no other truth ,and every race must fall which carelessly suffers its blood to become mixed." - Benjamin Disraeli, Jewish Prime Minister of Great Britain, in Tancred, by Frederick Warne, London, 1868, p. 106.

Gulliver's Travels is a 1939 American cel-animated Technicolor feature film, directed by Dave Fleischer and produced by Max Fleischer for Fleischer Studios. The film was released on Friday, December 22, 1939 by Paramount Pictures, who had the feature produced as an answer to the success of Walt Disney's box-office hit Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The sequences for the film were directed by Seymour Kneitel, Willard Bowsky, Tom Palmer, Grim Natwick, William Henning, Roland Crandall, Thomas Johnson, Robert Leffingwell, Frank Kelling, Winfield Hoskins, and Orestes Calpini.
Gulliver was the second cel-animated feature film ever released, and the first produced by an American studio other than Walt Disney Productions. The story is based upon the Lilliputian adventures of Gulliver depicted in Jonathan Swift's 18th century novel Gulliver's Travels.
The film opens with Gulliver (voiced by Sam Parker) washing up on a mysterious island after his ship sinks on a stormy night. It is revealed that the island, Lilliput, is inhabited by very small people. While scouting the forest, the town crier, Gabby (voiced by Pinto Colvig), comes across Gulliver's unconscious body and takes him as a giant, so he rushes off to warn the ruler of Lilliput, King Little . At this time, Little and his friend, King Bombo of the neighboring and equally minuscule island of Blefuscu, are planning a wedding between their children: Princess Glory of Lilliput and Prince David of Blefuscu. Things turn sour between the kings, however, when they argue over which song to play at the wedding (Little wants to play the song Faithful while Bombo wants Forever), and Bombo soon declares war.
Gabby manages to tell King Little about the "giant" (i.e. Gulliver) on the beach and is sent to capture him. Gabby leads a mob to the beach but is surprised to find Gulliver is not there; the mob begins to scorn Gabby until they all realize that they are standing on Gulliver's belly. The Lilliputians tie Gulliver down to a wooden platform and wheel him into the village—a task that takes them until daybreak. By then, Gulliver awakens and manages to break free which frightens everyone away, but when they see that the invading Blefuscuians are also intimidated by his size, the Lilliputians decide to enlist his help to fight against their rival neighbor, treating him with hospitality and making him a new set of clothes.
King Bombo, who has sent three spies, Sneak, Snoop, and Snitch, into Lilliput, realizes the threat that Gulliver will pose to him, so he leaves them to find a way to kill Gulliver. The spies steal Gulliver's flintlock pistol, confiscated by the Lilliputians and dubbed "Gulliver's Thunder Machine", and prepare to use it against him. Meanwhile, Gulliver learns from Glory and David, who are still deeply in love with each other, that their people are fighting because of their disagreement over two songs, so he proposes they create a new song that combines the two.
The spies assure King Bombo that they will kill Gulliver, so Bombo sends a message that says he will attack at dawn. Gabby intercepts this message before it reaches the spies and rushes to warn the Lilliputians. As he tries to find Gulliver, however, he is captured by the spies by putting him in a bag, and they prepare the pistol. As the Blefuscuian fleet of ships makes its way to Lilliput, Gulliver manages to reel all the ships in and pull them to shore. Gabby is still in the bag but runs from the house to try to warn Gulliver but is unable to see. At this time, the spies prepare to fire at Gulliver from atop a cliff, but Prince David grabs onto the gun's barrel just in time, only to fall off the cliff to his apparent death.
Using David's body to illustrate a point, Gulliver rebukes both Lilliput and Blefuscu for fighting over the songs they wish to sing. However, it is revealed that David is alive and well, and he and Glory sing their combined song to the two peoples. The three spies decide to set Gabby free by cutting the bag open, but he attacks them, not knowing the war is now over. King Little and King Bombo reconcile and work together to build a new ship for Gulliver, which he uses to depart from the now unified islands.

WHOOO, this is gonna take two hours to upload. :3 Plenty of time to write the description:
Questionnaire created by whiimsy. ^_^
1) Favorite movie - Hercules
Like you didn't see this one coming. XD And I think, based on the following responses, it'll be clear to you all why it is my favorite. :P I picked this scene to represent it because I always get happy when Herc grows up into a hunk, and I think Phil's song sums up what Hercules is all about. :)
2) Favorite heroine - Megara
Cynical, alto, mistrust of boys, sarcastic, but has a weakness for Hercules. She's basically me. :P And that means she's real, and I like that. :)
3) Favorite hero - Mickey Mouse
Yep, much as I love you, Hercules, Mickey Mouse is better. :) He's the original Disney hero, and come on! Just look at how adorable he is! Prince and the Pauper is my favorite Mickey cartoon, so that's why I used it. ^_^
4) Favorite sidekick - Sebastian
THIS ONE WAS HARD. Like really hard; I love all the sidekicks. It came down between Cogsworth and Sebastian because I love the ones who follow the rules, but are sort of nice pushovers and let things slide while still trying to get everyone to listen to them *is now talking about herself*. :P But Sebastian won out in the end.
5) Favorite villain - Hades
He's hilarious, and he's one of the few that don't really "die" in the end. And this movie just contains my perfect everything, lol. Scar is a close second, though...because he's just EVIL.
6) Favorite couple - Herc and Meg
Again, predictable answer. But I love this scene. They give up so much to be together, even after all the turmoil of their relationship. She gives up her life, then he gives up his immortality - the very thing he had been striving for - just to be with her. That's dedication. And they complement each other well. ;)
7) Favorite dance scene - Beauty and the Beast
Curse my lack of question mark in the vid, but it took over an hour to publish, so I couldn't do it again. Anyway, I had to go classic with this. Yeah, everyone likes it; yeah, it's the quintessential Disney scene like...ever. But it's famous for a reason - it's good. And gorgeous. Look at that. Gah.
8) Favorite kiss - Donald and Daisy in Pomp and Circumstance
I jumped around everywhere on this question. I wanted Hercules first because it's just an adorably hilarious kiss, then I went to Lady and the Tramp because it's so innocent and cute. But I finally settled on these two. :) I don't think it gets much more adorable as far as kisses go. They each think the other is dead, and then they find each other, and the music goes all high and triumphant, and the scene just compliments it so well. I love it.
9) Favorite family scene - Nobody Else But You
BIG thanks to RB for uploading hers first and reminding me of my love for this movie. :P Goofy and Max's relationship is the reason this is my third favorite movie of all time (after only Hercules and Monsters, Inc.). And this is my favorite part of the movie. I LOVE this song. I used to rewind/fast forward the tape just to get to it. :)
10) Favorite emotional scene - Baby Mine
This one was hard, too, but I got to thinking that a lot of scenes in movies choke me up, but THIS is the only one that makes me literally sob. Even just placing it in here and editing it down to something reasonable for this vid, I cried just looking at it. It's so sweet and it tears at my heart to see the poor baby being rocked by his mother. Ugh, I'm gonna cry...
11) Favorite child - Tantor
I hope this counts. :P I couldn't think of anyone that stays a kid throughout the whole movie who I really liked all that much. But Baby Tantor is SO CUTE. Not to mention elephants are my favorite animal, and they always have been.
12) Favorite animal - Dumbo
Three elephants in a row, WHOO! Again, elephants are my favorite animals. :3 And Dumbo is super adorable. AWWWW.
13) Favorite song - Go the Distance
IT'S MY FAVE, WHAT CAN I SAY? I love angsty inspirational songs, and this one tops the list. By far. Forever.
14) Most beautiful scene - A Whole New World
I don't know; this was by far the hardest question for me to answer. I love Sleeping Beauty and Pocahontas stylistically, but I couldn't think of particular scenes that enchant me, and I love Aladdin, and I felt like he needed to be in here somewhere, so...that's why it's here. I love the wind in their hair as they fly and all of the play with camera angles that goes on here. It's pretty...
15) Favorite ending - Pocahontas
As a lover of angst and sadness, I had to go with the only movie with a sad ending (well...Fox and the Hound is arguably sad, too...mehh), but the music here is some of Alan Menken's best (which is saying a lot because...he's him), and the animation is GORGEOUS. This might also be the most beautiful scene to me, but I couldn't use it twice in a row. :P
