Backwoods Bunny is a Merrie Melodies cartoon short, released in 1959, which was written and directed by Robert McKimson. While Bugs Bunny takes a vacation in the Ozarks he is pursued by some famished buzzards named Pappy and Elvis. This is one of two cartoons featuring Pappy and Elvis, the other being the Foghorn Leghorn cartoon, "The Dixie Fryer."
PLOT
The cartoon opens as Bugs is traveling his usual way, underground, and he runs into a tree. When he pokes his head out of the dirt, he wonders where he is, and looks over at a sign that says, "Y'all's are in the Ozarks". As he decides to stay where he is and clean out his hole, the scene turns to a small cottage placed atop a tall bare tree occupied by a father buzzard named Pappy and his son Elvis.
The impression we get is that Pappy and his son are dirt poor, because flies are buzzing around him and the shack they're living in is apparently run-down. Pappy smells something unusual and calls for Elvis to bring his "long distance seein' glasses". He says, "My nose is twichin' like there's eatin' vittles a'movin' down thar." As Elvis brings the binoculars, Pappy tells him to look through them, and as Elvis goes out onto the porch and looks around, he spots bugs cleaning out his hole. Elvis plans to catch bugs by luring him with a carrot. Bugs spots Elvis and says, "Uh oh, looks like I got company". Elvis places the carrot by the entrance to his hole, and Bugs says, "Well, here we go with the carrot bit."

Here is another WB short, directed by Isadore "Friz" Freleng in 1948 as part of the Merrie Melodies series. It features Bugs Bunny & Yosemite Sam.
This is the remastered, UNCUT version, which SHOULD be on the Golden Collection but for some very unclear reason isn't. In other words, this version has the original Gandhi line by Yosemite edited in.
I believe these classic cartoons, as theatrical shorts, and then as decades of children's TV, have earned their place in the public consciousness and needn't be "earning" any more (money that is). Please enjoy!
(Also, I never add watermarks to these and remove them where possible - I am ultimately trying to get a complete, watermark free collection. Don't be lame and add watermarks to classic cartoons!)

The Fair-Haired Hare is a Looney Tunes cartoon starring Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam. Released April 14, 1951, the cartoon is directed by Friz Freleng. The voices were performed by Mel Blanc.
The Fair-Haired Hare was the first short released in which Yosemite Sam was drawn with his mouth in his red mustache for the entire film. It is also one of the few cartoons where Sam refers to Bugs by name.
PLOT
Bugs Bunny — contentedly singing "Home on the Range," adding in that rabbits also live on the prairie — is startled after Yosemite Sam builds a cabin above his rabbit hole. Bugs tries to find out what's going on, interrupting Sam's banjo rendition of "I Can't Get Along, Little Dogie" (M.K. Jerome/Jack Scholl); Sam attributes this disturbance to mice. Bugs saws a hole and climbs out through a bearskin rug, causing the bunny to panic; Sam shoots the rug repeatedly. The two then begin quarreling over who has rights to the property; Bugs claims he was there first and should live there undisturbed, while Sam isn't interested in listening to a rabbit's opinion.
Bugs decides this may be a civil matter and decides to go to "the highest court in the land" — which they do: It's literally the "highest court" in the land, the courthouse being atop a mountain. There, the judge declares that both Bugs and Sam shall share the land equally ... "and in the event that one of you should pass on, the other shall inherit the entire property." Sam chuckles evily, making Bugs uneasy.
The rest of the cartoon sees Sam trying to kill Bugs, but all of his schemes go awry.

This rip, which is only of so-so quality, is not mine (and has a CN logo). Unfortunately I've yet to come across a better version (and there's none on YT), if you have one, please upload it and let me know.

The short never received its intended theatrical release and was shelved for several years. It was finally given a television premiere on June 13, 1997, after Cartoon Network discovered the film sitting unseen in the vaults. During the years since its rediscovery, the cartoon has garnered a huge cult following among animation fans because of its edgy humor.

A Feather in His Hare is a Warner Brothers Looney Tunes animated short, directed by Chuck Jones. It was originally released on February 7, 1948. This was the first Bugs Bunny cartoon directed by Chuck Jones that features the modern design of Bugs instead of the version Jones used from Super-Rabbit to Hair-Raising Hare, which was a shorter and slightly differed version of the character.
PLOT
This is a twist on the usual Elmer-chasing-Bugs cartoon, with the bunny's pursuer this time being a dopey American Indian. Most of the episode is spent with Bugs getting vengeance by "thinking up some more deviltry for that Apache."
