Here is another WB short, directed by Isadore "Friz" Freleng in 1948 as part of the Merrie Melodies series. It features Sylvester & Tweety in their second pairing as well as the first appearance of Hector the Bulldog. Nearly all versions of this cartoon censor the blackface joke after the dynamite blows up in Sylvester's face. I have done my best to edit in the joke in as seamless fashion as possible. The primary rip, which is only of so-so quality, is not mine (and has a CN logo). Unfortunately I've yet to come across a better version (and there's none on YT - without excessive, jarring watermarks), if you have one, please upload it and let me know. I believe these classic cartoons, as theatrical shorts, and then as decades of children's TV, have earned their place in the public consciousness and needn't be "earning" any more (money that is). Please enjoy! (Also, I never add watermarks to these and remove them where possible - I am ultimately trying to get a complete, watermark free collection. Don't be lame and add watermarks to classic cartoons!)

From their 1979 Thames Xmas special - this shows that they didnt need the BBC to still turn-out quality laughs. A shame that these Thames ITV shows never get repeated and yet the BBC rightly celebrate these 2 comedy legends every Xmas with their material.
